Joyce L. Norton, Formerly of Manteno, IL, Passes Away at 88

Joyce L. Norton, 88, of Tucson, AZ, and previously of Manteno, IL, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. She was born on June 29, 1937, in Harvey, IL, to Clyde and Flora Bracken. Joyce was married to Donald R. Norton in 1959 and worked as a retail clerk and bank manager. She was a parishioner of the Nazarene Church in Manteno, IL, and The Bridge Christian Church in Tucson, AZ.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Linda M. Johnson, son-in-law Pat Dandino III, sister Faye Bowers, brother Doug Bracken, sisters-in-law Carol and Ronni Bracken, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her husband Donald R. Norton, parents, sister Edith Bracken Travis, and brother Wayne Bracken. Visitation will be held at Brown-Jensen Funeral Home on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 4pm to 8pm, followed by a funeral service on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10am, led by Pastor Jack McCormick. Burial will take place at Homewood Memorial Garden Cemetery following the service.
