Janice Louise Gordon, 89, Remembered for Love of Family and Travel

Janice Louise Gordon, 89, passed away on June 23, 2025, at Miller Nursing Home. Born on October 6, 1935, to Noel and Eva Prairie, she married Robert Gordon in 1954 and co-owned Gem Dry Cleaners in Manteno. Janice enjoyed playing cards, games, and treasured time with family.

A devout Catholic, Janice graduated from Our Lady of Academy and loved traveling to 46 states, Canada, and Germany. A Florida snowbird for 18 years, she is survived by her husband Robert, children Mike (Lori) Gordon, Lynn (Kip) Randall, siblings, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Brown-Jensen Funeral Home in Manteno on June 27, 2025, with a prayer service led by Deacon Milt Leppert. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family's wishes. Janice will be remembered for her deep love of family and passion for travel.
