The Village of Manteno is set to offer rebates for residents who purchase security cameras, with reimbursements available up to $100.
According to the program guidelines, the rebate initiative is accessible to residential property owners within the boundaries of Manteno Village. The rebates are capped at $100 and are restricted to covering the actual cost of the camera, excluding installation expenses. Each parcel number is eligible for one rebate.
To qualify for the rebate, security cameras must be installed in a manner that allows them to view a public street or alley. Receipts dated between May 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, need to accompany the rebate request. All submissions must reach the Village of Manteno by January 3, 2025.
Residents seeking a rebate check must fill out a printable application form available on the village's website and provide proof of purchase. Additionally, applicants must permit access for verification that the camera has been installed. Rebate checks will be dispatched within 30 days following application approval.
