Christmas in Manteno is on Dec. 7

The annual event in Manteno is set to commence at 4:15 p.m., featuring a range of live entertainment and activities for attendees.

According to the schedule, the evening's entertainment will include performances by the MHS Jazz Band at 3 p.m., the MHS Chamber Choir at 4 p.m., Christmas with The Strips at 4:45 p.m., and a Sky Elements Drones Holiday Drone Show at 7:30 p.m. Additionally, Chicago Carolers will provide roaming entertainment throughout the event.

Santa’s Grand Entrance, accompanied by Dance Alive Dance Studio, is scheduled for 4 p.m.

The Village of Manteno has expressed gratitude to its sponsors: First Community Bank and Trust, Maldonado Family Law, LLC, FASTSIGNS, and The Valley, Your Favorite Hits, and River Country.

Other activities planned during the five-hour event include The Grand Lighting of Main Street, photo opportunities with Santa Claus, and a Holiday Market showcasing local artisans, crafters, and makers. Attendees will also have the chance to visit Christmas Tree Lane, which features over 40 trees decorated by local businesses and organizations. Visitors can vote for their favorite tree.

Various businesses throughout Downtown Manteno will offer themed activities or treats to enhance the festive atmosphere.
