Manteno Middle School Education: 453 white students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were 453 white students enrolled in Manteno Middle School in the 2022-23 school year, 2.5% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that the school welcomed 544 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 83.3% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.

The school is located in Manteno Community Unit School District 5 with a central office in Manteno.

Among the three schools in Manteno Community Unit School District 5, Manteno Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 697 students.

Illinois registered one of the largest enrollment drops during the pandemic. Since 2020, the Prarie State lost nearly 118,000 students, further intensifying a decline trend established since 2013.
