Manteno Middle School is preparing for its Winter Sports tryouts, scheduled to begin in December.
According to the school's announcement, volleyball tryouts will commence on December 3. Sixth-grade students will have their tryouts on December 3 from 3:00 to 5:15 p.m. at Manteno Middle School (MMS) and on December 5 from 3:00 to 5:15 p.m. at the EC Gym, with transportation provided by bus. Seventh-grade tryouts are set for December 9 from 3:00 to 5:15 p.m. and December 11 from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., both taking place at MMS. Eighth-grade students will have their tryouts on December 5 and 6 from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. at MMS.
Wrestling tryouts are scheduled for December 2 from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. at the EC Gym, with a bus available for transportation.
The school has said that all students must have up-to-date physicals on file before participating in the tryouts. Registration can be completed using the following link: https://schools.snap.app/mantenoms.
